AUTHORISATION OF AQUACULTURE PRODUCTION BUSINESSES (APBs): ENGLAND AND WALES

It is anticipated the Aquatic Animal Health (England and Wales) Regulations will be implemented on the 27 March 2009. On implementation of the regulations the Fish Health Inspectorate (FHI) Cefas will be sending confirmation of authorisation to operators of Aquaculture Production Businesses (APBs).

Anyone applying for a new authorisation, changes to an existing APB, or re-instatement of a fallow APB should complete the AW1 form and send it to the FHI.
